Essence: Sweet children, your spiritual pilgrimage is very incognito. You have to continue to keep your intellect’s yoga on this pilgrimage.
Only through this do you earn an income.
Question: What are the signs of children who stay on the pilgrimage of remembrance?
1) They are very mature, serious and sensible. They always remain peaceful.
2) They do not have any impure arrogance.
3) They do not like anything except remembrance of the Father.
4) They speak very little and very softly. They perform every action through signals. They do not speak or laugh loudly.
5) Their behavior is very, very royal. They have the intoxication of being the children of God.
6) They live with one another with a lot of love. They never become like salt water. Their way of speaking is very first class.
Song: O traveller of the night, do not become weary! The destination of dawn is not far off.
Essence for dharna:
1. The true Father has come to make you truthful. Therefore, never tell lies. Always remain honest and truthful. Never cause anyone sorrow.
2. Only speak about things of knowledge with your mouth. Let your way of speaking be first class. Don’t give anyone wrong directions and then tell tales.
Blessing: May you be an experienced image who overcomes obstacles by considering them to be a game with the awareness of “nothing new”.
It is fixed in the drama for obstacles to come from the beginning to the end. However, these obstacles give you the experience of making
the impossible possible. For experienced souls, even obstacles are like a game. When you play football, sometimes the ball comes to you,
sometimes you are hit, but, while playing the game, you enjoy it. In the same way, games of obstacles will also continue; they are nothing new.
The drama shows you the games and also the complete success.
Slogan: See everyone’s virtues and spread the fragrance of specialties and this world will become a world of happiness.
In this Murli Baba makes the analogy of what a pilgrimage is in the path of bhakti compared to our pilgrimage in the path of knowledge. Baba concentrates on the topics of remembrance and dharna.
Remembrance is the most important topic. It is the ‘seed’ of this knowledge. That remembrance needs to have some sort of experience in the self to be powerful enough to allow us to continue in this path. Remembrance at the mental level becomes something “boring” and repetitive unless feelings, unless the experience of bliss is in it. This remembrance is for sure, remembrance of the heart (soul) rather than the mind.
As far as Dharna, Baba always make the distinction of “royal, divine manners” as something aside from remembrance. Through remembrance alone the virtues of the soul will emerge and that is the “natural” state, the royal state. Otherwise, we are into the ‘copying game.’ Note that in this Murli Brahma Baba gave his example of his dealings with kings and the royalty. That behavior was considered to be “royal,” but in fact it is just a protocol used by the “iron age” way. Those “manners” could be learned and copied, but those “polite manners” do not have the strength when they are mixed with vices, such as anger.
On the other hand a virtuous soul, will behave in a “royal manner,” naturally. It doesn’t have to be a copy on how kings and queens behave nowadays.
Some points to “churn.”
“This pilgrimage can be taken at night or even at amrit vela”
This pilgrimage is unique and we can do it anywhere at any time. This pilgrimage is the way to maintain ourselves healthy and nourished. Amrit vela is the best time to practice it, not only because we are out of distractions, but because it will test our stage, to be able to concentrate and to feel the experience of soul consciousness; thus conquering sleepiness.
“You have to follow the Father’s directions given by Brahma Baba”
That is why we listen to the Murli everyday. However, we need to be able to understand that teachings are “according to time and circumstance” to be able to understand even better.
“You children have become soul conscious” “The first Shrimat says: “Remember me. Simply remember me”
That is our “aim and objective.” That is all there is in this life style. The rest are just details.
“Practice of having the faith of being a soul. Many are not able to make this effort because it is not in their fortune”
That faith could be replaced with certainty when we have the experience of the soul. Obviously the disclaimer is that it is numberwise; but we have to put the time to practice this soul conscious state, to feel it through meditations. Without this practice, the law of karma will not give us the soul conscious state for ‘free.’
“In the path of devotion, all the paths shown are false and for that reason they cannot become soul conscious” “All of that knowledge is false. There is no knowledge at all” “No one can attain liberation through those teachings”
Here Baba was referring specially with Sanyassis. It is important to note that what Baba is saying is true concerning Brahmin souls only and at this time. (teachings according to time and circumstance) for we need to remember that many Brahmin souls have been Sanyassis in another life. It has to be for the sanskaras of purity are there. Through “karma” we get to experience a Brahmin life (if it is in our fortune) The knowledge of the brahm element had some impact in us for that will allow us to recognize the soul world. Everything is beneficial.
The timing is different. For a Sanyassi, their teachings are the “truth,” unless there is a Brahmin soul waiting for the appropriate time to appear. There is no point in calling all other teachings to be “false,” for they are the “truth” for their particular path; which we know is depicted in the picture of the inverted tree. A soul belonging to the sanyassi religion will only be able to understand the teachings of that path; thus, that is their truth. Please see this point.
“All of that could be known for their qualities” “their behavior would be very royal”
“You should speak very little. You are going from the talkie to the subtle”
“You children have to become soul conscious. You also have to learn manners”
“Simply remember Baba and imbibe divine virtues.”
The above points refer to dharna. In my experience “talking very little” will happen as there is the experience of the soul. That inner contentment will be felt and anything that will make us extroverted, will be felt as a source of not being able to feel that peaceful state. Please note that there has to be a natural experience of the soul conscious state for those items of dharna to be displayed in a “natural” way; otherwise it is just ‘acting.’
