Question: I am not able to do justice with the course I opted for. The hard work that has to be in, is just not there at all. Hard work is very far off I have just not even started. What should I do? I have that feeling that I do not have any position in life. My thoughts are just useless. Please reply fast dear Brahmakumaris. I am eagerly waiting.

Thank you for your question!

Dear soul,
The reply that you are getting is not in any way connected with an “official reply” from Brahma Kumaris.
I am a student of BK and will be a student for the rest of my life. I am not a Guru, nor an “enlightened” soul. Just someone who has taken the “time” to look at this knowledge beyond the immediate “surface.” That is all. However, the replies here are based on my “own” experience and understanding of the knowledge taught in this fine institution. That is my disclaimer.

Your question is very general. Therefore, this reply will be general as well but at the same time, it encompasses your question and many others related, which usually deal with “life purpose,” and “life focus,” and any other ontological question.

In my experience, the only thing that has any purpose in life is to discover the self. That is to Awaken. Without this, our perspective of the world will be relative to our expectations, desires and what not’s due to our consciousness which is still sleeping.

“Not to have a position in life,” is to be in a good position. 🙂 The doors could be opened at that point. However, if your mind is not in the right “position” due to “useless” thoughts, you will not be able to see the opportunities.

Therefore, take care of that mind and those thoughts first, that is “do” a “clean up,” first. True spirituality sooner or later has to take you into being aware of your thoughts…How you get there is your option.. and if you do not see any option, suffering will be there to nag you until you find something… 🙂 That is the “doing” part.

Dear soul, Whatever you decide to “do” in life is not the issue. The issue is that we need to “be” in balance first, then the “doing” will be accordingly. “Doing” has been always behind “Being,” however; many are not able to see that yet. Everything starts in “being” and the “being.”

Best wishes!

Not to have a position in life is a good position! Second that. To be free of the limited roles of the drama is true freedom. Once your out of the game you can be in accordingly. All the best.
