Broken to be Whole
Into how many pieces, could your heart be broken before you die?
The number of pieces does not matter. What matters is to be able to pick your pieces up with gratitude.
That “death” will bring an extraordinary resurrection, for sure.
Brain said to Heart: “I have never had my heart broken”
Heart responded: “I have never had a headache.”
Brain said: “You are so lucky!”
Heart responded:” So are you!”
Pain in Brain or in Heart may be different but … the same pain.
If you are all heart, you could only have your heart broken. For you, Life will be the experience of a whole heart which then becomes broken.
What is wrong with that picture?
Nothing.
Do you want to always have a whole heart? 🙂
That could be like eating mashed potatoes every day. Yes, you may like potatoes but then after a while… you will not.
See the trend? It is called Life changes.
Observe how Life will take you to different experiences of the heart. The heart will be broken little by little or it may be a huge rupture. It is that uncertainty what makes Life worthwhile. What does destiny have for you?
Whatever it may be, one thing is certain: You are ready for it.
Do you like that experience of pain?
No?
That will be the incentive to appreciate a whole heart.
How could you appreciate it, if you always had a whole heart? How could you appreciate the heart, if you are a Brain?
The Brain will allow you to be outside, in the peripheral part of things, analyzing, defining, comparing, assuming… but never daring to experience “it” for it may hurt.
Be reasonable. Be logical. Be smart.
Pain chisels the heart, but pain makes it whole again.
“How is that possible?”
If Brain is the one asking that question, the answer could be: “You will never know.”
“But… I am smart. I am a quick learner. Explain that to me!” Brain replied.
It will not matter how many times we could repeat ourselves… it will not sink in, Brain. It is beyond your range of experience.
But if the heart is asking that question… well, that is not a “true” Heart…
In Life we will know many Brains and many Hearts. We will know many “half and half” and many “have-nots” of people.
Appreciate every one of them, for you have been/are/will be/ them…
“Oh! I get it.. Life is about appreciation! “
No, Brain… it is not a word, a definition. It is BEING that without trying to BE. Allowing it to happen.
That appreciation of variety is extraordinary, divine, inspiring…
Observe, appreciate, enjoy and… smile 🙂 for all is good… exactly as it has to be!
Questions – June 20, 2013
Brother, Its been a question that has been plaguing me for a while now. I have heard that mentally-differently enabled people have in their previous births have abused their organs, and this is natures way of doing a balancing act. meaning in this birth their sanskars would emerge.. but the physical organs would not enable them to put it into action. The question i have is that if it is in my family such a soul has taken birth and i observe that it is actually waging a war between its sanskar and its organ’s in-ability to convert to action.. what as a spiritual person we can do to make its life/journey easier
Dear soul,
Thank you for your question.
In a nutshell and out of experience.
1) Good wishes and pure feelings
2) Your words with that person should encourage him/her to find something where this soul could feel happy in his/her present condition. Avoid any situation when possible, where this soul could feel the energy of pity coming from others.
That is what I like to call the “poor thing” syndrome. Many people inadvertently send those vibrations when they feel the hurtful emotion of pity for such a soul rather than encourage him/her with pure feelings.
3) Observe. Learn and become a detached observer.
Dear avyakt7, “ILLUSION” in the ‘worldly relations’…. Is it ‘creation’ of BRAIN function? Whether there is any role for the ‘SOUL’ with regard to the experiences of ILLUSIONS?
Dear soul,
Thank you for your question!
The brain does not “create” anything. It is just a role-playing that illusion (as you pointed out.)
The “game” resides in knowing that some will be able to find the “illusions” and others do not, but believe to be in “reality.” However, everything is needed as it is.
The beauty of the Drama!
Best wishes!
Om shanti, what is the true reality existance of SUKSHMA vatan. Is brahma baba’s light energy body with soul is still there. wheather also al the human being presently on earth also have same another LIGHT ENERGY BODY parallely exits in sukshma vatan or what is the purpose of this sukshma vatan….Seeking for direct enlightment.
Dear soul,
Your question is appreciated but to get direct enlightenment as you would like to, you need to experience yourself this subtle region.
I have mentioned in this blog earlier that I have no experience of the subtle region, therefore; I do not feel comfortable speaking about that. However, if you want “theory,” there is plenty in this blog already about it.
Just use the “search articles with keywords” box and type “subtle region” (The English translation of sukshma vatan)
Below and article as an example.
Also, please bear in mind that all of those question that you are asking now may be in this blog already. I am aware that many souls are coming to this blog from the first time, new BKs who would like further clarifications; thus, I would like to encourage them to use the search facility of this blog.
Best wishes!
Question: Dear avyakt7, When asked by a SOUL about your introduction, you wonderfully gave your realizations in your post. This SOUL would like to know on a famous QUOTE in SPIRITUALITY: “knowledge is only an achievement of the brain, whereas realization is the awakening of the soul”. Would you kindly share your CHURNING on it, for the benefit of SOULS in search of realization?
Thank you for your kind words, dear soul. Thank you for being a wonderful supporter of this blog through your participation! 🙂
I’d like to change that quote a bit: “knowledge is a virtue of the soul. It is wisdom. The issue is that we have forgotten it, because we have forgotten our “true” self.
Then, spiritual teachers will be necessary to allow us to remember that. That is BapDada for us BKs. When we use only our intellectual understanding to make sense of teachings without realizing that the teacher is pointing us into our own inner search, then; we will make out of those teachings a dogma, a rigid body of “knowledge.”
That “knowledge” is merely intellectual. Hollow. It just requires intellectual understanding. It will make us good speakers and good writers, but not “new,” self transformed human beings.
On the other hand, a realization is the understanding of the heart. There, the mind and the intellectual thinking is not needed. It is the unconscious “old sanskaras” catching up with the conscious the “new” sanskaras, so there is automatic change. In that change there is no repression nor renunciation.
A realization like that is true understanding….Awakening of the soul!
Thank you for your thoughtful quote, dear soul!
Best wishes!
Question: What happens in case of unconscious/Subconscious stage? Whether the “Soul” is sleeping of “Brain” is sleeping? Just wanted to know what is the relation between “soul” and “brain” during unconscious/Subconscious stage?
Thank you for your question! 🙂
In a nutshell: The soul is the driver of the car. The brain is the “key” to start the car. If the soul cannot find the key, the car cannot start.
The relationship of the driver with the key, is not a relationship but just a need if the car is to move anyplace.
Once the driver is done driving, he puts the key away. The key is still there, but it is not starting the car.
We can use fancy names such a “conscious,” “unconscious,” “subconscious,” etc. Key starting the car, key in the starter without starting the car, key in the pocket of the driver… 🙂
The interesting thing is that we feel those “stages” every day of our lives.. 🙂
