Changing “yourself” through feelings.

Here some important spiritual “keywords”: Forget and forgive. Love one another, trust our own process, be the change that we want to see, go beyond our comfort levels…
Right? All of those are famous “keywords” that we should “practice” to change ourselves. The above are the “right” answers. The skillful combination of those words should get any spiritual article plenty of “likes” from the reading community.
Truth is, those words are only plain words like any other word. Our minds could have a mental understanding by looking up the meaning in the dictionary, but still those pretty words cannot be understood at the necessary level to make a significant change.

How do I know that? We forget. We will go back to who we ARE in the moment that we least imagine, no matter how careful we are in our “practice.”
What we ARE will come out to the surface eventually.

We need to go beyond mental understanding. We need to go to the feeling level.

The irony is, that the word “feeling” is misunderstood for lack of experience. We have felt pain, pleasure and elation, but those are not the feelings that I am referring to.

To feel means to irradiate from the heart. What do you irradiate? Your feeling. It is energy.
That feeling could be as strong as the pleasurable sexual libido running through our bodies. As a matter of fact, it is the same energy.
With sexual libido we could make love to a person.
With the ardor of a sentiment irradiating from our hearts, we could make love to the Universe.

That feeling will bring fulfillment. A smile will be seen in our faces.

That is what makes a difference, a change. There is experience, thus true “knowing.”

Many are happy when someone says: “Hugs to you” or “wish you the best,” however, those are only politically correct words to be pleasant.
Those words could have meaning beyond the dictionary, when the source is the feeling of the heart.
We have forgotten that.

Our minds control us. We believe to “know” when there is a mental understanding of a concept. That could be alright when we are in a classroom learning many other “concepts” but in the reality of self knowledge, true knowledge is to experience.
The perspective of an experience could be changed through the feelings of our heart, and not just through the mental conditioning that we have learned.

Feel the spiritual “keywords.” Allow for that experience to break the insipid, theoretical knowing of the mind.
Fulfillment in Life is not found in the crazy unfulfilled mind which only knows about contrast, comparison and judgments. It is in feeling Life.
Feelings will liberate ourselves from the tyranny of our own conditioned mind.

True freedom is in that liberation.
