The Oneness of light and darkness

We perceived light and then perceived darkness. We saw 2 separate things.
We labeled light as “good” and darkness as “bad.”
With those labels, our perception of “morality” arrived and people divided themselves into “sinners” and “saints” to feel shameful or to judge others based on their value system.

The division progressed, as a “God” appeared to support a moral system and to condemn another.
That is how “being better than thou” arrived. We became engaged in building a “cookie cutter” society which kills all possibilities to explore being yourself… All in the name of “being righteous” instead.

As some individuals were busy selecting “good” over “wrong” or light over darkness, some realized that it is artificial to say that light is “good” and darkness “bad.” After all, if light exists it is because of darkness!

Then it is a matter of balancing light and darkness to feel “right,” was thought. Balancing the “opposite” was the perception to live by.
That was thought to be more “elevated” and “good.” 🙂

Then came Oneness.
Why do we perceive light and darkness as opposite or complements?
When we perceive them as opposite, we have the fight of supremacy, “good” against “evil.”
When we perceived them as complements, we have the quest for inner balance. Out of balance= “bad.” 🙂

What happens if we perceive them as One?
That will be an inner lie! Everyone knows that light is different than darkness!

But… few know that they are One indeed!

Let me explain. What makes day and night or light/darkness?
Timing. It is the same manifestation. The Earth rotates in its axis, that rotation, which is related with time, makes the difference. Day and Night is rotation, movement, change… See? 🙂

“But… Someone is making that movement to happen!”
You are expecting that “someone.” That is your belief system.

“ Yes, but light is better than darkness. We should make this world better.”
Better?? It is what is! Enjoy it!
“Come on! People are suffering! There is hunger, war and loneliness…
That needs to change!!”

Life IS CHANGE.
The problem is when the “I” wants things to fit his perception, his moral standards, his ideals… When the “I” interferes in that way, the “I” creates more of that which he wants to get rid of.
Because the “I” is different than the “other” there is opposition. Because of opposition, there is suffering, hunger, and loneliness…

Can’t we see that?

“ OH, I get it! then… I need to change myself to change the world!”

You have not understood. 😦

Here we go again… Life IS CHANGE.
Oneness is to be part of it, to integrate in it, to love it.
Be part of the change, allow it to happen.

“But… how do “I” know if that change is not good for ME?”
You have not understood. 😦
Here we go again: Life IS CHANGE.

And here… the deep riddle for Y’all:
Light and darkness depend only on the eyes looking at. But, “What is” is not depending on a pair of eyes.
Thus, Light and darkness are ONE.

Appreciate your own Divinity

“ I am breathing,” we say.
In fact, there is only breathing. The “I” is not doing a thing. Breathing just happens.

What makes it tick?
That is a question without an answer. It does not matter. It is an utterly meaningless question.
Do we see that?

But… why?
I could come up with every single theory. I could come up with every single belief and every single concept to explain breathing, how it happens and how it begins… God could give you the “answer,” but still an “answer” is not what is important.

What is important?
That breathing exists. Acknowledge it. It is an experience. When we are aware of that experience, we could begin our “knowledge” about breathing.
Knowing its length, its depth, its relaxing properties, as well as how emotions appear when there is a lack of flowing movement in our breathing.

“Knowing” is Being it.
Then we could observe “our” stomach, lungs, thoughts, feelings and posture, become aware completely of that which we call “I.”

Isn’t that an amazing, divine being?
Are you in awe of experiencing a body through senses, thoughts, emotions and feelings through this human experience? Are you in elation when you recognize the “I”?

No? It is the same old thing to be aware of that stuff?
We take for granted what it is, a wonderful experience.

It is through this “falling in love with your divinity,” how there could be an appreciation of another. You are unique and so is that one.

It is through appreciation of that divinity how a magical source of inspiration appears.

Why is inspiration so important?
Because it drives our life. It teaches us without a willingness to teach. It is no longer about following to become someone. It is no longer about the greed to “have it,” to “be it” just to feel important.
Inspiration is the nutrition of the soul.

Look at the Ocean. Isn’t that a source of inspiration?
Isn’t that the moment when appreciation is born all by itself in a natural way?
That appreciation is necessary to relate with everything in Life.
“Being good” is no longer a moral duty or an obligation, because of a promise, a code of conduct or something external.
That inspiration is natural, subtle, gentle. There is no effort or learning required.

Become immerse in the stillness of the Ocean. That is called “contemplation.”

As our world of movement meets stillness, then stillness will appear, all by itself.
The mind used to moving from place to place, only needs to be united with the stillness of the Ocean to taste that sensation beyond the perception of an “I.”

It is at that point, when we meet Oneness.
“I am everything and everything is I.”

In that wonderful feeling we may need to peel off the language barrier, the “misunderstanding” which separates:
Let us take away the “I.”

“Am everything and everything is.”

Beautiful.

It is in that nonsensical phrase, full of grammatical errors where we could find the deepest meaning of Life.
No need to look somewhere else.

Questions for June 6th 2013- Topics: Power, Love and Entropy

Brother, When i say i am a powerful being what i really mean from this? Our nature is of stillness and of movement, 2 extremes. Should we focus on break(to get stillness) or should we learn to drive (to get moving)?

Dear soul,
Thank you for your great question!
To be “powerful” simply means to be able to be constantly stable in one stage at this time. We fluctuate because our consciousness fluctuates. For some that stage to be obtained is called “soul consciousness,” for me it is “beyond thoughts and duality.”

Your mind is caught up in duality when you see 2 different things such as movement and stillness and having to choose one of them. Embrace all. You are both. If you deny one to choose the other, you will suffer for sure. “The truth is a paradox” has been said, not that it is logic.

Best wishes!

dear brother,if girl or boy face the one side love situation what should he or she should do???As who is in love sending thoughts and definitely thoughts will come to the other person which will create disturbance. How one can protect him/her self from this kind of situation where he/she does not want to involve.I asked question because i have seen so many youth who dis troy their career due to other person and sometimes lose their valuable life for that person who has no care for their emotions. In this situation other person is also not responsible as he/she cant feel same for other person?so who is responsible. How spritual knowledge can stop youth to take such a big step like sucide for love ones?

Dear soul,
Thank you for your great question.
Let us say that person A is in “love” with person B.
Person B does not reciprocate that love, is not interested in person A as a “lover.”
Person A will be thinking about person B all the time. Sending thoughts towards that person.

Those thoughts will be in relation on how person A was treated by person B.
If person B was very harsh towards person A and closed all doors, hurting the feelings of person A; then you can imagine the quality of thoughts that will come as a return in person B’s way.

One of the things that we need to learn is to treat everyone with respect. We know that this a karmic account (so no one is responsible,) but knowing that does nothing to solve the issue. Therefore, let us be aware of the feelings of another human being who feels something for us, even though we do not wish to be engaged in such relationship.

The other thing that we should know is that as long as we are dependent on someone for our happiness, we will fluctuate. That fluctuation could be a broken a heart for some or to commit suicide for others.

To learn to let go, is more than lyrics from a song; it is truly to wish the best to another being and let that be the extent of your love for that person.

When you open your hands and let a dove fly free from your “protection;” you can enjoy its flight with good wishes from the heart. A dove needs to fly.
If it is in the Drama, that bird will come back to you by itself; otherwise, it is free to fly. You are Ok with both. That is love.
If youth could learn that, then their teacher was a “good one.”
Sometimes, that teacher is life itself.

Best wishes!

HELLO and omshanti dear brother I’m in gyan since one year. Baba said that I come onto this earth only when all other souls become tamo pradhan. my question is if every soul has to go through sato pradhan, sato, rajo, tamo, tamo pradhan (it is known that souls degrade as they take births but baba said a child is sato pradhan, adoloscent is rajo &adult is in tamo stage in each birth too) then the one birth soul should reach 25 years of age for becoming tamo pradhan only then Baba started coming which means that soul has already hit 101 years of age if sangam is still continuing the age of that soul continues to be indefinite how can this be possible? Does it mean we are only 4-5 years away from world transformation?

Dear soul,

Thank you for your question! And welcome to the BK club!
Take a look at a day and how it transforms into the night. This will explain to you a mini cycle of sato, rajo and tamo.

Then, observe how the 4 seasons change in a year. That will teach you a bigger cycle of sato, rajo and tamo.

Then, take a look at the cycle of time; then that will teach you a even greater cycle of sato, rajo and tamo. (Entropy)

Now, take a look at human beings and how their lives fit in all of those cycles.

Please just take a look at this for now, study that and you will learn the answer to your won question.

Unfortunately, I do not follow how “entropy” is related with being 4-5 years away from world transformation; when the world is always transforming.

Best wishes!

Continuous change

change

Life is change. Movement. Continuity.
Change is all-pervading. To hold onto something will be a source of suffering for that something will change.

Our bodies change. This is a tough realization for an athlete but not so much for a “normal” person. Different awareness. Different priorities.

Our surroundings change. The same people who we used to hang out with, will not be there. It is a matter of fact. A matter of time.

Our thoughts and ideas will change. They need to, for in that change there is the possibility for further change, further discoveries.

The truth is not a still picture. Something to hold on to, something to talk about, something to recite and to keep it unchanged. The truth cannot be a dogma.

Why?

Simply because it needs to fit life, the reality of living; and that is change in all respects.

Even what I am sharing, is not the “last word,” it cannot be. From the minute that it is put in writing, most of the truth behind the realization is gone; it cannot be put into words.

If I hold onto this realization with my intellectual abilities; If I continually recite that “the truth is that everything changes,” then; I am incurring in a greater falsehood, which is to conceptualize something that cannot be put into concepts, into ideas.
A shared realization is merely a point of reference to start a journey of self discovery. This article is just that, a point of reference.

If I hold on to something which will change and deposit my hopes and desires in that, I will suffer for sure.

Marriage is one of those situations where change happens and our ideas about the “other” will bring disillusionment once we realize that our ideas do not match “reality.” Then, we could say something like: “You changed. You weren’t like that when I met you.”

The picture, that still in our minds is the cause of that disillusion. Life is a movie not a picture.

To embrace that change without talking about it, to be in tune with the possibilities that things will not go according to our plans, is to be the unencumbered traveler of life, who is flexible enough to go where life goes.

It is not a question of finding who is “right or wrong.” It is about going along in unity, flowing and letting everyone find out for themselves where they are.

I am with change. I flow with change, I let life present the gifts that will allow me to understand me better; for living, in a way is nothing more but knowing ourselves; to realize that all the dramas of life are merely products of our own inability to let go; to flow.

Life seems like a “me” game; but it is not. There cannot be unity where there is only “me.” However; to know “me” is a necessity for that is all that I could ever hope to know. To know “me” means to know others. Then, there is flowing with life. “Me” goes away.

To know “me” so “me” can go away.

Attachment is a serious mental disease, once we realize that water must flow to be alive, to heal; to endure, to last.

To welcome life changes is a sure way to know how in tune we are with our destination.

To embrace our destiny as it is, requires to know ourselves; for then, we will know that nothing happens in life just for the “heck of it.” It happens because of “me.”

Silence, Movement and Calmness – By: Mathias

(from “the Awakening”- Mathias – translated from Spanish)

Many times we limit our thinking by talking to ourselves and by talking to ourselves in a negative way, through the use of language in an improper way. Together with this; we are continually ingesting toxic emotions which have brought our planet, physical and emotional damage.

How do we finish these habits?
1) By becoming conscious of silence
2) By having undivided attention to movement
3) By taking things with calmness.

1. Becoming conscious of silence:

Silence allows sound and symphony to build and shape up everything that exists in this world.
Silence also communicates, meaning; it transports subtle information to far away distances with great intensity.
Silence allows restructuring of our language and its form by nullifying the effect of a destructive atmosphere.
Silence gives life to “space.” Without space there is neither form nor harmony.

When rain drops down, it has sound. The wind has sound. The combination of both is symphony.
The space between each sound will bring stillness to the mind.

In that stillness. there is emptiness and in this emptiness, it is possible to expel or eliminate any type of energy from the physical body, even the one which has introduced itself in the heart.

To begin the “healing dose,” it is important to bring an attitude of celebration, cheerfulness and then dance. All of this is in relationship with others.

Many times in the “party of life,” the sounds coming from the mouths or hearts of someone, are like noise, but still we need to dance. For movement will not allow us to accumulate that given energy, and they will hesitate to give the same noise again.

Celebration of life is a song. The symphony of silence.

In order to heal and regenerate we need to use:
Light + sound
Space + time
Silence + Stillness
All of that will equal cellular regeneration.

We could call everything mentioned thus far, the “structure of the symphony” and this should be combined with the other “doses” to intensify its effect.

This effect with affection is called magic.

Before trying to take the next step, let go of all structures from the past. Don’t fix anything without making sure that you have let go before.
Let go, give a space to yourself. Now fix a “theme” to work on at a time, then give it form. Then, let it go; do not expect anything. Let it go. To know that this movement has harmony with life is known as celebration.

2. Bring complete attention to movement.

In this movement there is power. That harmonious movement utilizes this symphony; that means time and space which together along with harmonious breathing in total consciousness, will bring the renovated restitution of energy in the self.

A relaxed, fluent movement increases performance. It improves the distribution of oxygen, allowing us to better absorb the essential nutrients of life.

Movement with attention and consciousness will allow us to reach self-mastery of the physical senses with greater agility besides clarity of vision.

This extrasensory perception will speed up the manifestation of what is emitted in matter. The mind in its state of density usually stops this movement.
To move means to let go. To bring attention means to fix, to establish, then our consciousness will be able to give that a new form.

3. Take things with calmness

Psychological time and the structures from the past, need to be eliminated. To go beyond time, we need to finish with all interest in physicality and all its different roots.

To be in calmness is the art of disinterest. It is to generate a redirection with the unlimited. To break all barriers brought by time means to move at great speed. That speed without harmony, creates chaos.

For example: One morning John went for a walk to know the town but with the excuse in his mind of “not having time,” he wouldn’t allow himself to enjoy anything.

To take things with calmness, is to introduce in the mind a new habit, a new behavior, which means to observe and then to emit, to act and then to perceive , to perceive and then to transport.

Transformation of that which is perceived, means to dissolve and generate new spaces, where the physical senses do not play an important role, since these are limited by time and space.

For example: To listen in silence is only possible when you are capable of going beyond the influence of any physical sense. This is done through the stability of vision. That is, to look for a space where the mind is free from the influence of time. To be in a hurry or to believe to be in a hurry does not help to relax the mind. The “information” will flow through you and because you are unable to “catch it,” this information will naturally dilute itself.

Calmness means to feel the absence of the unknown, is to surrender to certainty in an appropriate way. It is to feel that that which has arrived to you has necessary motives to exist and requires total acceptance.

In this conformity with that which exists, a natural skill will emerge in you and the nutrients for life will arrive to you and all of the sudden only gratitude will emerge in you.

The harmonic movement allow us to take things with calmness; that is to feel total respect for that which comes without any further labels as good or bad, because this labeling will not allow its manifestation with a null state; it will avoid the development of communication and healing through a healthy use of the energy of words.

While things are happening, only there is a need to celebrate life. To use our time in healing that pressure of our own mental belief that everything should happen faster. Sometimes, that movement in our life stops because we are not ready; and this will bring great consequences; which could last days, months or even years.. . and even though that could happen, still take things with calmness because in the least expected moment, perhaps a door will be open! We could come in, but to remain there, means to maintain that harmony and thereby understand that everything is coming to us in the right moment. This does not depend on no one or anyone. It just happens. When? At the right time.

In the meantime, celebrate, smile and dance with life.
