The experience of “no-I” changes everything.
Yes, we are One. Yes, we are God, Life, the Universe… but Yes, “we” are not.
We are nothing. We are everything.
Simple language cannot express, but poetry can express… but not what “is.”
What is “karma” in the “I” and the “no-I” realm?
As explained by traditional religious spirituality, it is an action of the “I.” That action, has a “reward” or “punishment” for that “I,” according to how “good” or “bad” that action was. After all, “I” performed the action with my “free will.”
In the “No-I” realm, all of the above is “pure” nonsense. Rubbish.
If there is the experience of heat, there will be the experience of cold. Some may label heat as “good” and cold as “punishment.” The “I” creates guilt and shame through that view of an “I” performing “karma.”
The experiences of the opposites are together. It is duality 101.
The “I” with his “free will” pretends to separate from the Totality, but “we” are everything, the Totality. There is no separation, no parts.
Life experiences, manifest through physical bodies. It is how Life changes. Behind physical bodies there is a realm, which we are not aware of. Life moves through “us.” That movement is possible through the appearance of complementary forces, which the “I” perceives as opposite and labels: Good and bad, moral and immoral, right and wrong…
Chaos is not the opposite of Order. Chaos and Order are the same energy at different stages of movement. One will bring the other, without “our help.”
Observe how day changes into night. There is continuous change, imperceptible for an unaware being. Neither day or night are the “end product,” it is a continuous.
Then, the mind appears: “It is 5 pm called day or night?”
Stupid question. 5 PM does not exist. “How shall I call 6:39 PM? Is that day or night?” The nonsense from the mind goes on… All because the “I” has a watch.
“What was “created” first, day or night?”
Stupid question again.
“Well… There are not stupid questions, but stupid answers… “
The answers are bound to follow the questions, otherwise, you will say: “ You are not answering my question.”
The “I” dwells in the mind. The mind is unable to perceive, to be aware of without comparing, analyzing, contrasting.
Fully observe, be aware of how day changes into night, and you will know the answers, without looking for them.
The “I” struggles to know “answers,” but the answers in Life are not of the mind.
Thank you for your great question!
When you “wait for when it will finish,” you are in essence “tolerating,” when you tolerate there is no “acceptance” of what is, but rather we can’t wait for things to change. When we do that, we are not living life in the moment and also we are not aware, we are not sure that “night will turn into day time” at its right time. We have doubts.
On the other hand, when we have that certainty, “tolerating” is over. It is senseless to complain about “why is there still night time?” or to fuss about night time or to reject night time or to talk about how terrible is night time, all of that “perception” is what is causing us suffering…. all of that is just adding suffering into the self… Night will change into Day automatically, whether we fuss about of it or not.
The day we get to understand this, we will be able to see that to “waste” energy in fussing and tolerating is just making us tired without any purpose.
Dear soul, in your question:”Should we keep moving along?” 🙂 You will keep moving along. The question is if you rather move along with a clean mind filled with “good wishes and pure feelings” or with lots of “painful thoughts” about something which is temporary and “natural” in the unlimited.
enjoyed ‘enjoy the silence’. u really hv the gift of giving words to feelings. u shared abt sunrise, trees, birds etc. here i ‘d share abt my experience. have u enjoyed the full moon night- ‘poornima’. it is the most exquisite gift of nature. just look at the moon intently….forget evthing….the beauty, calm cool silence peace……will penetrate ur being. words r inadequate to describe. u feel full, so much, it lasts till next poornima….when u find urself eagerly awaitng for the unique richness.
Thank you for your kind words and for your comments on the full moon or “poornima.” Yes.. I love Nature and being in Nature. That experience has been a source of inspiration for me as the full moon is for you.
The full moon has its own beauty, and it was mentioned in this poem written sometime ago:”The hidden artist of the night.”
In a dark rainy night
loneliness brings its shadow
to the kernel of the mind
mercilessly hitting the target
with the hammer of disguise
lingering thoughts fulfilling an empty heart
looking for something absent to remedy
that petty awareness of being there
in a shallow existence now or anywhere
A reason to exist is unknown
when the heart beats without the Lord
is surviving the routine of nine to five
for God’s sake my pet has a better life!
Wise words arrive and shine when the fake smile
is told good-bye,
for darkness always brings us closer to light
when honesty rises in the slumber of the night.
“The Drama is beneficial for all.”
7. Embrace duality do not select.
We have been taught to select good against bad. Day over night. God over Ravan, etc.
When we see things in the “unlimited” there is no such a thing as “making a choice” or selecting. Why? Because things have to happen as they are. Therefore, to say that those things are “bad” or “good” is just to select one aspect of them and to deny the other.
This is why Baba says “According to time.” According to time we need to be at some place so we can flow with the Drama. The Drama is already moving in a particular direction and we just move with it. Connect with it. We are not selecting, we are not denying Ravan, the night or evil. We embrace everything in the “unlimited” because everything is needed in the “big picture.”
The understanding of this point will liberate us of our petty morality. There is no morality in the Drama. We have moral values, codes, laws etc. which create lawyers and judges and nullify our ability to be. The issue is that through Baba’s knowledge we can “be” according to time. This knowledge is not there so we can be “Good” forever. No. This knowledge disappears as well at the right time.
Similarly the capacity of a soul to withstand suffering is the same capacity to withstand happiness. That ability creates a “number.” That number gives variety to this Drama and that variety allows “movement.” Variety increases as time increases from “day 1.”
Practically, this point shall teach us that we cannot fight within ourselves. We cannot deny, suppress and repress the Ravan inside. We just have to accept that it is there, be aware of it and move “according to time.” The battle will be won as long as we are aware that daylight must appear and that we have the “aim and objective clear” in our whole being. It is just a matter of time. There is no battle to be won. It is a game.
