“Spiritual” cogitations
In the “Office world” we learn to pursue, to achieve, to DO what is conditioned to be “better” for us. In Life, none of that is important.
What is the difference between the “office world” and Life?
The “office world” is part of Life, however; it is man-made, artificial like a computer or a car, not “bad” but artificial. For our minds, that artificial Life is the most important aspect of living.
The “office world” values wealth, power, and information (called sometimes knowledge) above anything else. Those are mental conditionings. Someone could live their Life miserably by DOING something they do not like, for the sake of obtaining wealth, power or information.
Someone may DO something to achieve wealth, power or information although it will be detrimental to his health, relaxation and appreciation of Life. Why do they DO it? Because they have been conditioned in that way. They cannot see anything else.
Observe where “Human progress” has taken us. Every time further away from Nature. Every step into an artificial Life.
Observe how every “problem” that exists in the world (office world) today has the root on our ever-increasing human population. As a consequence, fierce competition to secure scarce resources, will change our perception of the world.
Nature is no longer “our Mother,” but another economic resource to exploit and to gain profits from.
The environment could be polluted for no one “owns it.”
It is comical to believe that poverty could be eradicated through money, when money only represents the power of human division between the “haves and the have-nots.” Lack of money is not the cause of poverty, but human greed is. Funny, no book on Macro Economics will ever talk about it.
When you look at Life from a different consciousness, everything that used to be “important,” no longer will be.
Many individuals in the “Spiritual achievement club” want to be “enlightened” but they better be careful what they wish for. This is not another degree to obtain or another title to achieve. In fact, you will lose everything you used to know and trust.
Everything will be gone. Are you ready for that? Even “you” will be gone.
Some “spiritual books” mention that the reason why spiritual people are away from other people is to better practice “spirituality.” That is not true, but only for the followers. The only reason why any enlightened person who has ever lived went into solitude while walking the path of self-realization, was to decondition themselves. That is not something that they carefully “planned” or organized to “achieve their goal,” like in the “office world,” but it happened to them.
That space away from the conditioning of society is what is needed. There is no “spirituality” to practice here, other than being able to live with yourself.
That is a hard thing to DO when we live a Life of distraction from ourselves.
Society wants answers to every question, as long as those answers are “eco-friendly, organic and animal free tested.” Those are the keywords to sound caring, loving and correct. Yes, society is about “looks.” That is the seal of artificiality.
Life is away from what society has given us. Empty handed, you may be able to experience Life… but this is not for everyone, thus; it is not a “best seller” material. 🙂
The intricacies of Morality
For many individuals, Morality is synonym of “righteousness”, “good”, “sainthood”, etc.
Going deeper into the significance of morality, we may discover that it takes away the inherent innocence of an individual to turn him into some sort of preconditioned robot, who is expected to display a certain behavior under certain circumstances. Our society believes that “good” is something that can be DONE regardless of who you truly ARE.
In our society, morality is necessary. Without it individuals would behave in distinct ways which could be unmanageable.
Thus, morality exists as a way of management.
“Who manages who?”
Those with power will manage those without them. Those with power are the few. Those without it, the many.
This is the basic game, the struggle of human beings.
I cannot show up naked to work, for that is “immoral.” If I do, there will be consequences coming from those with power.
There is nothing wrong with being naked or so we are told; the body is beautiful, right? until “morality” is invented. Add some religious morality to the mix, to feel shame of our body. That is the “double standard.”
The surgeon general warning says “smoking causes lung cancer, heart disease, emphysema and may complicate pregnancy…” Nevertheless, cigarettes are “morally” sold to the public under the belief that because someone is 18 years or older, they know what is “best for them.” The magic of a number.
Therefore, “morality” is just a convention to play a game by following certain rules. I am not saying not to play it. Play it by all means, but know that it is not the “true game,” or the “only one.” That space will allow us not to be caught up. It is a game.
However, many will worship that word and take it to an extreme, just to show self-righteousness, ego.
Life, Nature is void of morality. Are you aware of that?
“But those are animals… what can you expect from them?”
Those “animals” know how to live Life harmoniously with their environment. Humans have lost that precious gift, thanks to their emphasis of using only the mind. The “moral” human is destroying his own environment. Fascinating!
What do all Hollywood movies have in common?
The plot of the fight between “good”, and “bad.” That is the “moral” versus the “immoral.”
Although “bad”, “immoral” is rejected, without them there will not be a movie, no plot to make profit. Our society and “spiritual values” will teach us to reject, despise our own shadow; paradoxically, by living in the shadows and away from light.
Light becomes only a mental, intellectual teaching when it is separated from the shadow.
That sort of insanity has been around for hundreds of years. The consequence is a divided man. A human who is unable to fully accept himself, that is incapable of loving the totality of himself.
Do you know about the teaching of “becoming better”? Our society continuously puts that carrot in front of us, donkeys.
“Better, moral, good” … Nice, pretty labels. We have already been conditioned to fully accept them, without going into these things with depth.
Who has the time, when there is so much to accomplish, so much stuff out there to build a “better” ego?
Time is money it is morally said… but in Life, time is change, and change… takes time, not money. 🙂
Question for June 17, 2013 – Jealousy
Though in gyan , sometimes the old sanskar of jealousy does crop up and i get into negative thinking , when “people close to me become close to others ” so after reminding myself that each one role is fixed in drama and i cannot expect ,i need to have a broad mind etc etc,,i tend to cope up of the situation. But i see bcoz of this dramatic hush of emotions ,i found that while in sleep ,have continuous dreams ,not able to wake up in the morning as the dreams are continuing….my question is what actually is happening and how can i change for better.
Dear soul,
Thank you for your question.
Emotions are indeed a powerful means to re-live the past with added events or even to create anxiety about the future.
A strong emotion while awake could continue on while you sleep as dreams.
The issue is to be able to observe when an emotion comes up. For instance, your voice may change. You may become excited or physically you may feel a pain or a new sensation.
Most of the time, those emotions appear unchecked. The easiest way to become conscious of their appearance is to experience a peaceful stage. Allow yourself to experience aloneness, to be away from everything and feel that stage of being. For me, I find that when I am in Nature or after a profound meditation.
Maintain that stage of being as much as possible by being aware of it. Then, when an emotional trigger comes up, you will be able to realize that is there, because it changes the way you feel.
That is all. Once you know it is there; just acknowledge its presence. No need to call that emotion with names.
There is another way to go over emotions or the triggers of those things which cause emotions, and that is by experiencing “emptiness.” When you are “empty” those emotions will pass through you, so you will not react. That is your mind is calm to the extent that thinking becomes very slow, almost none and you are “busy” experiencing that “sweet” emptiness.
Let us talk about jealousy.
Jealousy is a sense of not feeling secure. It is fear in disguise. With jealousy there is a sense of wanting to posses that which we are afraid will go away or comparing with another and feeling “lower than.”
That sensation creates the emotion. If that emotion is strong, it will continue affecting you even through your unconscious.
Anything you may think about that “could happen” is just an illusion.
Trying to go across the river through your thoughts without actually getting into the bridge to go over, is an illusion.
To live in the past or the future are illusions.
Best wishes!

Questions for June 6th 2013- Topics: Power, Love and Entropy
Brother, When i say i am a powerful being what i really mean from this? Our nature is of stillness and of movement, 2 extremes. Should we focus on break(to get stillness) or should we learn to drive (to get moving)?
Dear soul,
Thank you for your great question!
To be “powerful” simply means to be able to be constantly stable in one stage at this time. We fluctuate because our consciousness fluctuates. For some that stage to be obtained is called “soul consciousness,” for me it is “beyond thoughts and duality.”
Your mind is caught up in duality when you see 2 different things such as movement and stillness and having to choose one of them. Embrace all. You are both. If you deny one to choose the other, you will suffer for sure. “The truth is a paradox” has been said, not that it is logic.
Best wishes!
dear brother,if girl or boy face the one side love situation what should he or she should do???As who is in love sending thoughts and definitely thoughts will come to the other person which will create disturbance. How one can protect him/her self from this kind of situation where he/she does not want to involve.I asked question because i have seen so many youth who dis troy their career due to other person and sometimes lose their valuable life for that person who has no care for their emotions. In this situation other person is also not responsible as he/she cant feel same for other person?so who is responsible. How spritual knowledge can stop youth to take such a big step like sucide for love ones?
Dear soul,
Thank you for your great question.
Let us say that person A is in “love” with person B.
Person B does not reciprocate that love, is not interested in person A as a “lover.”
Person A will be thinking about person B all the time. Sending thoughts towards that person.
Those thoughts will be in relation on how person A was treated by person B.
If person B was very harsh towards person A and closed all doors, hurting the feelings of person A; then you can imagine the quality of thoughts that will come as a return in person B’s way.
One of the things that we need to learn is to treat everyone with respect. We know that this a karmic account (so no one is responsible,) but knowing that does nothing to solve the issue. Therefore, let us be aware of the feelings of another human being who feels something for us, even though we do not wish to be engaged in such relationship.
The other thing that we should know is that as long as we are dependent on someone for our happiness, we will fluctuate. That fluctuation could be a broken a heart for some or to commit suicide for others.
To learn to let go, is more than lyrics from a song; it is truly to wish the best to another being and let that be the extent of your love for that person.
When you open your hands and let a dove fly free from your “protection;” you can enjoy its flight with good wishes from the heart. A dove needs to fly.
If it is in the Drama, that bird will come back to you by itself; otherwise, it is free to fly. You are Ok with both. That is love.
If youth could learn that, then their teacher was a “good one.”
Sometimes, that teacher is life itself.
Best wishes!
HELLO and omshanti dear brother I’m in gyan since one year. Baba said that I come onto this earth only when all other souls become tamo pradhan. my question is if every soul has to go through sato pradhan, sato, rajo, tamo, tamo pradhan (it is known that souls degrade as they take births but baba said a child is sato pradhan, adoloscent is rajo &adult is in tamo stage in each birth too) then the one birth soul should reach 25 years of age for becoming tamo pradhan only then Baba started coming which means that soul has already hit 101 years of age if sangam is still continuing the age of that soul continues to be indefinite how can this be possible? Does it mean we are only 4-5 years away from world transformation?
Dear soul,
Thank you for your question! And welcome to the BK club!
Take a look at a day and how it transforms into the night. This will explain to you a mini cycle of sato, rajo and tamo.
Then, observe how the 4 seasons change in a year. That will teach you a bigger cycle of sato, rajo and tamo.
Then, take a look at the cycle of time; then that will teach you a even greater cycle of sato, rajo and tamo. (Entropy)
Now, take a look at human beings and how their lives fit in all of those cycles.
Please just take a look at this for now, study that and you will learn the answer to your won question.
Unfortunately, I do not follow how “entropy” is related with being 4-5 years away from world transformation; when the world is always transforming.
Best wishes!
Question: Om Shanti. Dear Brother Soul. It is said that purity (being celibate) has highest power. But my questions is : most of the souls up to certain age will have purity. But still they look or feel powerless. I couldn’t understand when we will experience that power.Do we have reach certain age to experience that power? Some souls will come to this gyan in mid of their life. Still they experience same power as those who are celibate since they are born. What are your thoughts on this? The reason for asking this question is, though i’m practicing celibacy, I’m not experiencing anything special.
Thank you for your good question!
Dear soul,
For me the “reason” to practice celibacy is “reformation.” In my pre-Bk days, I did what everyone thought to be “normal,” even though that meant being a slave of sex-lust. Without this “reformation” it is not possible to “ascend” into feelings of the heart (4th Chakra) and thus, transform sex-lust into feelings of love and appreciation. At this point in your BK journey, you will see that there is no need to “run away” from the opposite gender and as a matter of fact, there will not be fear of expressing appreciation, love and care. Contrast this with the experience of a typical “renunciate,” who goes away “into the forests” to avoid temptations or that they shave their hair so everyone looks the same.
You can be celibate from birth. It does not mean a thing, if you are still repressing when feeling attracted. As a matter of fact, that “attraction” for physical things will diminish as higher chakras are developed, but it does not mean that you cannot express appreciation. Again, unless the heart chakra is developed, the beauty of celibacy will not be understood. You cannot develop higher chakras in yourself if your sexual energy is being “wasted.” Sexual energy allows you to transform the self, that is “improving” or to repress and suppress so your celibate life will be a “hellish” life of self punishment.
That is where “power” comes. It is the power to ascend and not to descend or repress. Celibacy is way more than no indulging in sex lust. If your consciousness have changed, then you are into something. Otherwise, it is just a “burden” which many souls will feel that they had enough and because of that they will leave Gyan.
Another great benefit of practicing celibacy without repression, is that your power to understand “subtle things” and overall openness to life, will increase. There is no fear, so life is accepted. That is “power.”
Best wishes!
