Our consciousness is our reality. To change that “reality” we may need to go through the full range of experiences deemed for that consciousness through the assimilation of those experiences. Those are perceived as Life “ups and downs.”
In religious talk and philosophical musings, “I” can change my consciousness at any time.
That is short of nonsense.
However, that nonsense has been going on for a long time now, with the outcome of people living in greater fear, repression and anxiety due to their desire to reach or obtain a particular state of consciousness by “doing” things.
It is about time to finish that childish idea that by “doing” certain actions someone could enjoy a different consciousness.
It is not like that, because “doing” cannot change “being.”
I can do something 1000 times per day to get rid of for example, laziness. My continuous activity will cover my laziness and as long as I keep doing my action 1000 times per day, I will not “see” my laziness, even though it will be there. Stop the action and laziness will surface again.
It is just a cover up.
“Doing” reinforces a previous realization. This is not an intellectual work. It is a realization that comes from the heart.
That is why reading “spiritual stuff” does not do any change in the self until we see our reflection on that reading material and the heart feels the need to change without looking at the “pros” or “cons” of the resolution.
Do you want to wake up at 3 AM to pray every morning?
Great! That is a good time for that. However, your consciousness will not change a bit due to that practice, of that “doing.”
That is my point.
“What do you mean by consciousness?”
The ability to observe “reality” from a particular perspective. Our collective consciousness is lost in duality and the material perception of the world through physical senses. That is one type of consciousness. Neither “good nor bad.”
There is a story about the death of the Buddha, which I heard at one time in a gathering, don’t know if it is true, but it illustrates what I am trying to convey.
The Buddha ate some food that had poison in it. The Buddha knew about that poison and he took it anyway and as a consequence he died.
For some, The Buddha committed suicide.
Suicide= “bad” = “sinful.”
For others, the Buddha didn’t want to offend the host by rejecting the meal.
Not rejecting= “good.” Suffering to please others = “good.”
The above are different types of perceptions, or consciousness in the “good or bad” realm.
Few understood that for the Buddha there is no difference between Life and Death for his consciousness is beyond that duality, so he ate the food for the enjoyment of it.
What is the teaching?
Perhaps to demonstrate that committing suicide is not “bad” when you are in a different consciousness.
The Buddha lived in the “now.” He ate the meal to enjoy the taste of that food while living in “the now” in the gracious company of his host.
For the religious minded individual looking to imitate the Buddha, that will mean to immolate himself out of some excuse because he may think that his “action” will be as elevated as the Buddha’s.
That is not so. That follower will be stupid and pay the price of his self-dishonesty.
His “action” is meaningless when his consciousness does not match it.
Do we think that the Buddha was thinking thoroughly about what to do next while receiving poison?
Not a bit. He just did what was “natural” for him, according to his consciousness.
“But… if he was a person protected by God, he should have survived through a miracle!”
The “miracle” is that there is no death, but for most of us this is just “theory” and fear is our consciousness.
The world of rationality and the intellect is too much about theory, analysis and flowery talk but nothing of utility in changing consciousness.
To try to understand intellectually a consciousness, which we do not currently enjoy, only leads to misunderstanding and blind following of followers through a dogmatic vision of Life. That has been the destiny of every single organized religion through time.
The singular consciousness enjoyed by the “founder” of every religion has been misunderstood/ re-interpreted by followers without exception.
How do I know that?

Well, brother, please explain how you have arrived at this conclusion. If it is the same life energy running through different bodies, how can we account for different sanskars of different souls/ people?
Yes, we ‘identify’ a soul by the body he/she/ it is occupying; and we also know that each soul is unique and there will be a world of difference between some souls.
It still sounds ok that we are all ‘leaves’ of the same tree and that we are individuals having the same life energy (with different ‘concentrations’). Even not a single leaf of any tree is the exact replica of another leaf of the same tree. They may look alike, but they will have some minute differences in their form.
If “preordained roles are enacted through human beings/ souls’ – our present understanding is that a soul should have the capacity to play a role assigned to it and the capacities of souls do differ.
That shows that the souls are separate. It is like, we are all ‘birds’ flying together, but are flying on our own.
And, we are the individual droplets of life, ‘flowing together’ thus making it a stream of life.
That is why, when all of us are interlinked and connected, what we give unto others reverberates and comes back to us. Treating ‘others’ with love will make us also experience love.
Even now, the more we practise soul consciousness, the more we can easily link our intellect to any soul in the world and can pass on our thoughts/ feelings to them INSTANTLY. Most of us are experienced in this aspect. And we can also ‘feel/ experience’ the stage the other soul is having at that particular moment.
This shows that we are individual souls having different stages of soul consciousness/ purity at any point of time and that we can experience anyone’s company in a second. All we need to have is the stage of soul consciousness, the only aspect that will enable the ‘meeting’ of a soul to another soul or many souls as well as the Supreme Soul.

We are dealing with the paradox of individuality and Oneness. You see individuality. I see Oneness.

We are dealing with duality of concepts. Our understanding goes according to our consciousness. It is not that a particular consciousness is “higher” than another, but just a different perspective.
There is a Drama. It is One not many. However, it manifests as “many” for it runs through different actors.
If you go watch a play in the theater, you perceive actors acting different roles, however; their roles are already scripted to fit the writings of the Director of the play.
Let us say, you watch the movie “Saturday night fever” (1977) starring John Travolta.
Now, here is a simple description of the plot: “Saturday Night Fever is a 1977 American dance film directed by John Badham and starring John Travolta as Tony Manero, an immature young man whose weekends are spent visiting a local Brooklyn discothèque…’
John Travolta is not Tony Manero. Just as a soul is not the role.
However, John Travolta is there acting, because of the forces of the destiny. He was “selected” to act in that movie.
We simplify by saying it is the movie director who selected him. In Sakar Murlis, that director is God.
However, we know that the “sanskaras” which Travolta demonstrated to be selected are not really “his.” It is part of the role playing in that soul. Those sanskaras are nothing else that the expression of being numberwise. Every actor displays a set of sanskaras which are determined by the Drama for they are needed at a particular time.
Also, we know that the writing of the movie director is not really his writing, but came through him.
Who was behind all of that?
Who is the Drama?
The interplay of being an non-being, the interplay of duality which makes the Drama tick. The “sankaras” which express in the world of action as “karma.”
It is the spider web of the Drama, the “subtle energy of life.”
Souls without roles to play are like stones sitting in the pavement. “Sleeping beauties” if you like.
A Soul can give life to a body, but roles give that body “something to be.”
John Travolta without his role of Tony Manero, wouldn’t be known at all. It is that role what made the difference.
Therefore, if the Drama is one but expressing many things through actors; why do we just see the separation of different actors?
If the tree is one; why do we like to be caught up only in the manifestation, that is in looking at how different the leaves are?
A soul may be individual but the “sleeping beauty” does not make the Drama tick. The roles do that- Drama. Please see how that individuality of the soul is meaningless without the Drama.
The Drama is One flowing through the individuality of the souls.

One of the Bk brother suggested me this blog, and hence I am writing to you. Few of my questions are: 1. When the sanskars are recorded in the atma, why should we be soul conscious? Irrespective of soul conscious or body conscious, it is the sanskars that we enact. All that we do is based on these sanskars only. Thank you for your very good questions! You will find that many of the questions that you may have; already have been answered in the blog. All you need to do is search them by typing a keyword in the “search articles by keyword” box.
Yes, churning brings many questions; thus, you are churning; but also churning brings the answers as well for many of those questions as we go deeper.
On your first question:
1. When the sanskars are recorded in the atma, why should we be soul conscious? Irrespective of soul conscious or body conscious, it is the sanskars that we enact. All that we do is based on these sanskars only. Then why should we be soul conscious and what is the importance of this?
Answer: Are you a soul or a human being? 🙂 Both. Right? For if you say that you are a soul, then I would say; great… you don’t need to eat anymore. In this knowledge you will find that as we go deeper there is no just ONE answer but it all depends in our state of consciousness.
As you said, We don’t need to be soul conscious, there is no one forcing us to do so…it will happen anyway but not “now” for most. If it is in your fortune, you will become soul conscious “now” as the “sanskara” plays (as you mentioned.) Because we know about the law of karma, unless you “do” something, to get you out of “entropy” (coming down) then, things will keep on going down. No constant soul consciousness will happen by just sitting around. Your “doing “ becomes your future even though it is predestined as such. So, you “do” but it is predestined. This is called a “paradox.” Gyan is full of paradoxes.
According to Gyan, the time for soul consciousness is arriving. If you are aware of the “call of time,” then you will do the needful; otherwise; you will not; which is alright as well. The only difference is that the Drama is having “auditions” for soul conscious actors for the next 2500 years. If you are interested, you can “try.” If you don’t, you can be comfortably sitting in the soul world for those 2500 years where there is no experience of time. (That means that you will not experience that as a “long time.”) The “good news” is that you will experience soul consciousness in your first birth anyway, but then, entropy will quickly change that stage.
As you can see, there is no such a thing as “we should” be soul conscious. Everything is easy. Make your “choice.” 🙂 The importance of soul consciousness is in your awareness of experiencing a state of non-duality “now” rather than “later.”
2. How does the action be always right when we are soul conscious?
Answer: Because in soul consciousness there is no duality, the word “right” is not used. Words such as “right or wrong” are useless in soul consciousness. In soul consciousness you will flow with the Drama as a leaf floats in a river and you will be OK with your destination. There is nothing to fight against but just to enjoy the ride. Because you are flowing, your activities will be according to the call of time and according to your nature. Soul consciousness means egoless, and when there is no ego, activities will be egoless as well. That is what we call “right.”
3. What Is the difference between being soul conscious and Swaman?
Answer: Swaman (self-respect) is soul consciousness.
4. Is swaman necessary, even when we are in soul consciousness? Which practice becomes more important as the first thing in the early morning? Practice of different swaman’s or the soul consciousness?
Answer: They are both the same. It is an experience not a practice. We could practice things to experience; but “practice” by itself does not bring the experience.
The first practice that becomes important early in the morning as well as late at night is soul consciousness. Self awareness.
5. How do I start looking life as a drama?
Answer: By changing your vision, which comes automatically as you experience the self, soul consciousness.
Dear soul, in this knowledge; the experience of the self or soul consciousness is the single most important aspect. From that, we will understand everything else.

Serenity is a stage of consciousness which comes from the experience of the self on a regular basis. From that experience, anything else is colored by that serenity. You are not “taking responsibility,” you are playing…It is a game to be enjoyed with serenity.

1) The final stage of Remembrance
Baba says Nirandar – always remember me. And at the same time Baba says be in your Self Respect – Swaman Always.
Are these two sentences not contradicting?
If I remember Baba, My Intellect is involved in remembrance and when I am in swaman, my Intellect is aware of my original nature….
What does really Baba mean by the above two sentences?
Does it mean that when we are in remembrance, we are in swaman or when we are in our swaman, we are in remembrance of Baba?
When we remember Baba and surrender every fikr – worries, thoughts (when I surrender everything to God including mind, how can I have thoughts on my own), then we become Befikr – worriless keeping our Intellect free, by which I am able to stabilize in my Self respect – swaman giving sakash to the whole world, being in my original form, being a Narayan…..
So it is like, Based on our remembrance of Baba we achieve Swaman. Like when the child knows that his parents (Baba) are there with him, he is able to carry out his studies (being in swaman) without any botheration for food, money, shelter. The remembrance of Parents are merged in Child’s mind that because of that remembrance the child is able to concentrate himself on his studies.The remembrance is Natural.
The conclusion may be , We can achieve Swaman only if we remember Baba and have full confidence – Nischay in Baba and His Powers (Baba says He even changes the Karmic sins-accounts for the ones He is responsible because He knows the secret of Karma). And when we are in Swaman , it is only due to awareness of Baba and His actions.

The experience of soul consciousness is to remember the Father as many times have been expressed.
The answer is not one or the other, (remembrance of Baba or being Swaman) but both at the same time which become one.
In soul consciousness there is that Oneness.

Good realization! You are in the right direction. Now, let us think. What do you call the Karma of all souls at all times? 🙂
Let me give you a hint… It is starts with capital “D,”…. Drama.
Now, everything that exists is called the Drama. When we separate actors, we perceive parts of that Drama. That is karma.
No one creates the Drama therefore, no one creates Karma. If you go deeper, you will see that “karma” has another layer. Actions “begin” with thoughts and feelings/emotions; that is “sanskaras.” Therefore, the Drama is made up of sanskaras which in turn become Karma which in association become Drama. See the picture?
Now you can go even deeper than that and realize that there is no “beginning,” therefore no need for creator. Who is first? Drama, Karma or sanskaras?
That question will be similar to : who is first an elephant or his trunk, or his tail ?
Who created that elephant? Then we say God.. but then who created God? … see the picture? There is a problem with that word “creation”… 🙂

Life is beyond labels. There is life beyond thoughts. There is understanding without thinking.
There is the stage of a “detached observer” in Baba’s gyan; also known as a “trustee,” or the “witness,” etc. That state is just about looking/seeing the self. Those thoughts, to be aware of your emotions, your reactions, whatever names you want to use to describe the “content” going on in the self. The task is just to look, to be aware of that “inner content” of your own “book.”
Then we could perceive that there is someone watching those thoughts, emotions,sanskaras, etc. It doesn’t matter what name we use to describe our own “content.” That is “you,” the being, the soul. Greater consciousness of that being observing in a detached manner, greater awareness. That means, greater transformation. That is the “effort.”
If we do not add any “thoughts” to this natural process of observing; words such as “hard,” “impossible,” etc; then we will not live by words and more thoughts; but we will be living life by experience without labeling, we will feel and then become aware of “being.”

To have sanskaras means to experience. Sanskaras are dual in nature.
God is beyond experience. God cannot have sanskaras.
Please look into the meaning of “Abhokta, Akarta, and Ashochta.” Here is an article. Once that is understood, you will see the need for Brahma Baba so, God “gets the sanskaras,” that is why, BapDada.
As you know, all of those illnesses, etc. will disappear in the Golden age. Here, we are settling karmic acounts. Yoga will allow you to go through your karmic accounts without the experience of great sorrow.
Baba’s emphasis on “purity” will definitely change your life. In some cases divorce has occurred. In others, things have gone alright. That depends on your own karma as you know. When it is in your Drama, it will happen, but at the same time; you will have the resources to deal with it. For an outsider that means that “BKs are breaking up families,” when there is truly “breaking up” going on through sex-lust, but for our “double face” society, that is “OK.”
Yes, there are many roles according to your capacity.The Drama will provide that understanding for every soul, if we are willing to wait until we are ready. Most do not want that and want for someone to tell them what to do. Capacity means that some tests will call for your experience of sorrow. Not everyone will be able to stand the same amount of sorrow. BUT, as your capacity for sorrow, so is your capacity for happiness.
“Don’t take the law into your hands” means follow the procedures in society to correct injustices.
Not to give sorrow means…just that… “By the features the nature can be identified,” means that as you behave and feel your nature (good/bad) could be seen.
