In life, Dirty and Clean play paradoxically together.

An air conditioner appliance has a filter. The quality of air going through it, depends on the filter.
Likewise, Human beings have a “filter” in their constitution.
If the filter is pretty “clean,” the experience of Life will be different than someone who has a somewhat “dirty” filter. Not “better” but “different.”
“Dirty” means more use. It doesn’t mean “bad.”
A “dirty” filter means the accumulation of the experience of suffering, through the acute consciousness of the “I.” Paradoxically, that is the natural path for “No-I,” a “clean” filter again.

The filter will clean itself, after being completely dirty.
How? Life performs the “magic” through unrehearsed Life experiences, when our time arrives. Dirty and Clean are the range of a full experience in Life.

The experience of sexuality has to deal a lot with that “filter.” Teachers are into techniques, methods, information to make the sexual experience “better” for their followers. There is no consideration of the “filter,” that is the types of experience that one individual is to experience according to his consciousness.

That game of people with “dirty” and “clean” filters, present an array of experiences in Life for humanity.
Every experience we experience, is related with someone else’s. We are all connected.

Awareness means to observe the direction that Life is taking us.
Many times, we want to go South, when Life is moving us North. Paradoxically, by going North, we will go eventually, South.
Once we are aware of the game, we will know how to play it, but what we know is only for us. Others have their own path.
In Life, there are no fixed rules. Fixation is merely a perception.

Even tough connected, we are alone. If you believe to be alone, you are missing the connection.

Achieving wisdom for $9.99

Wisdom is not attained. There is no achievement there.
Insight is not given in a “spiritual class.”
There is no religion or philosophical system that could offer wisdom, but conditioning through information.
There is no course or “certification,” that could prepare anyone to be a “spiritual guide.”

Living Life will unleash wisdom… little by little.
Living Life in awareness, will speed things up.
Therefore; in Life, we could go slow or we could go fast.
Either way we will get there.
Where?
Nowhere.  A rat in a maze will run everywhere, “searching” for something. Awareness, will allow us to know that we are in a maze. What is there to search? The “exit”? Everyone will get there without “effort.” Thus,  Enjoy the maze!

The “spiritual class,” the religion, the philosophical system, the spiritual certification, the course with the guru, will give you a destination, a “where to go,”  Something to achieve!

The majority of “spiritual” people need that.  Achieve by paying a fee.
Go through a door, here comes another. There are so many doors! Which one is the “top door” to achieve? What is the shortcut, the “right” method?  Label every door: Level 1, level 2, level 3… just like a Nintendo game. Now we are going someplace! Although, nowhere.

Fake “spiritual” Change

Jack IS gentle, egotistic, compassionate and he portrays an addictive personality. Did he “practice” anything to get this way? Did he learn any “techniques” or followed instructions to BE that way?

If another person has observed compassion in Jack, and she wants that compassion that Jack has, how could she get it?
She can only “practice” those actions that she recognized to BE compassion. However, are ACTIONS by themselves compassionate? A compassionate person, one who IS compassionate, will ACT with compassion. BEING expresses naturally into ACTION.

If the above paragraph has been understood in depth; then we could observe how any form of spirituality or “sacred” sexuality made from “techniques, methods and the practice of those;” is fake.

“Spirituality” made of rituals and practices only focus on the ACTION, the external element observed by all. But Love is not a ritual. Love is not a method. Any action coming from BEING Love, will have that perfume in it.

We may ask, how can I BE Love? That question shows that we don’t understand. BEING is not dependent on external actions or behaviors made purposely to change something in us. It does not depend on our will power or a “new year resolution.” For what we believe to BE love is merely an idea. We say:
“A loving person is understanding. He is compassionate. He is gentle. He is willing to sacrifice for another. He speaks sweetly, etc.”

The above is not Love. The above are just words defining our idea of love. We believe in “practicing” those ideas to have love as the result.

The reality of love is a mystery. Others may recognize that quality in us. There are no actions or specific words that we could express in order to BE Love.
BEING Love brings its own aroma which is very hard to put in words.

“OK. So much for explanations. where do I start then?”
Obviously in recognizing those things that we ARE NOW. If we are AWARE, those things will come out through the mirror of relationships with others and within. What we recognize out of that deep look within, is not an exercise to label what we see as a virtue or a sin. What we recognize are triggers: Sparks of anger, elation, violence, compassion, disappointment, hope within us. True recognition IS without using those labels. Just feel them and recognize the origin.

“Now I get it!! “I” should not create any sparks or triggers at all…”
NO. We can fake our reaction and believe that we have “healed.” We can fake our feelings with a theatrical performance, like an actor.

Our only “job” is to BE AWARE and to trace back in our lives, the origins of that situational trigger. That is all. As the AWARENESS deepens, then inner opening happens, emptiness arrives and through that emptiness there is newness…. CHANGE.
We’ve been taught to DO things to Change! To take prescribed steps to achieve some sort of change, as if we could control consciousness and Life itself!

As we become AWARE that Life experiences are not separated from what we call “I,” then we could start perceiving the limitations of DOING things to “achieve” something, that we believe will make us “better.”

CHANGE is a natural process, it is not a forced activity based on learned conditioning.

CHANGE IS NATURAL in LIFE. Humans make it “unnatural” through methods, practices and different types of control.

Pretty “spiritual” phrases: Be yourself

“I just need to be myself,” is a  fashionable “spiritual catchphrase.”
Before that, the “teaching” was to BE like someone else. That could have been a saint, a hero, a politician, a priest anyone else deemed to be “good.”

Then conflict arose: “How should I BE myself if I am a [sinner, impure] not worthy? I have to attain what this other person IS, to be worthy!”
Nevertheless, the conditioning of what is “worthy” and the forgetfulness that any so called, “virtue” cannot be attained through a method is apparent; for that virtue is a state of BEING, not a state of DOING. Repetition  of what is perceived to be a “good action” does not make you virtuous, but dull. From society’s viewpoint is “better” to DO something considered “good” even though it is not what is felt, a natural outcome of BEING. For someone in the path of self-realization, to OBSERVE what you ARE at one moment is of paramount importance. BE AWARE of that.

METHODS cannot bring a person to a different state of consciousness.
This confusion, is observed for example, in “spiritual sexuality.”
The collective consciousness of the common man is of an angry monkey, ready to be violent and defensive. The belief is that by “teaching” methods and practices, that monkey could be a great lover!
That is an illusion and so is to repress our sexuality.  DEEPLY OBSERVE what IS first, then  true change is automatic, and not artificial by following commandments, etc.
A person wanting to imitate Gautama Buddha or Jesus, is bound to fail miserably. He can only be a double face, dishonest actor.
Paradoxically, that imitation will only increase his chances to go to “Hell rather than Heaven,” although that is not the objective of the “spiritual”  imitation.

Why is that? Inner dishonesty could pass as honest activity (DOING) under the view of society’s rules, but that farce cannot cheat the rules of Life.

“BE yourself” when viewed in depth, is meaningless.
Who is that “YOU” that you want to BE? It is a made up mental ideal. Our conditioned mind has a form made of parameters delimiting that which we call “I.”

“BE” is the “spiritual phrase.” BEING is not limited by the ideas of “myself” or “yourself.” To BE is unexpected, of the moment. It is not directed by the mind. Most individuals in the civilized world, are unable to BE, because their conditioned minds will not allow for that to happen.
Therefore, to BE means to become AWARE of all those conditioning agents running constantly through our minds. It means to OBSERVE how the mind takes over and directs our personality. Without this previous “work” there cannot be “Just BE.”

Another way to explain the above, is by using the label “emptiness.” It is the process of dissolution of the mind and its conditionings as to leave stillness of the mind. This stillness is out of emptiness and not out of artificial control [“I control my mind.”] Picture a room full of stuff, ready to overflow if the door is left open. Control is necessary in that picture to keep things inside the room. However, if the room is empty, there is ample space to decorate that room with newness of Life.

BE YOURSELF is truly a way to chain our experience to a particular form/belief/idiosyncrasy/upbringing, etc. FREEDOM is not there.

We can experiment with BEING SOMEONE else. There are many methods and religions for that. We can experience with BEING YOURSELF, there are many self-help books written about this topic; but we cannot experiment with BEING.

To BE is freedom. It is freedom from the known. The idea of the collective consciousness about freedom, is infantile.

To grow up means to look, to observe, to be aware without judgment, without mind, so the realization of that experience is able to change our lives. 🙂

The consciousness of Tantra

Jesus of Nazareth (a.k.a Christ) and Mary Magdalene were the embodiment of the consciousness of Tantra. So was Osho.
Who taught them Tantra“techniques”? Who certified them? What master classes did they attend to?

Tantra happens naturally in a particular level of consciousness. As a consequence, Sexuality will have a different meaning.

For a typical person, Tantra is about sex…“slow sex.”
The distortion is evident.
For a “normal” individual, sexual energy is a pleasurable energy that builds up and that excitement at the same time creates the need to get rid of it quickly (sexual relief.) That pleasure cannot be enjoyed for a longer time and “saved.” It needs to be released. Thus, the frenetic physical movements coupled with violence and anger (main energies of the collective consciousness at this time) giving the sensation that “sex is made in fast, feverish movements.”    That may be “true” for the collective consciousness only.

What has been offered to the masses is a “training” to slow down. Copying the ACTION (DOING) does not mean that the consciousness (BEING) is behind it.
The collective consciousness is a “monkey sees, monkey does” type of consciousness. However, a monkey IS still a monkey, no matter what it DOES.

That “monkey” consciousness is the one in search of techniques, methods, rituals, etc. to “look like” the “real thing.”

What I am describing above is not only about Tantra for the collective consciousness, but the whole package of the so called “spirituality.”
“BE like a spirit. It is our “true” nature.”  It is taught.  Translated to a “normal” consciousness it means to deny the body. The follower will deny his own body to pursue an ideal, a mental idea of what “should be.”
This is not “bad,” for there will be learning, although; it may not be a pleasant experience. That is the “tuition” for the lesson.

Therefore, without the previous “work” in consciousness; how could we say that we are “practicing” Tantra?
How is it possible for someone to speak about “self-realization,” by only exploring human sexuality?
That is a mirage.

However, there is a lesson there to be learned.

Ahnanda never thought that he will be sharing about Tantra. A few years ago, that was the furthest from his Life experience. Life is full of surprises!

Tantra happens when the time arrives.
Followers of self-realized individuals have made Tantra into a “method.” Those “methods” were kept secret for centuries, only given in a particular sect, philosophy, religious belief, etc. However, some westerners learned these “secrets” with the hope to “help others.” (Making $$ by selling a new thing in a “new”package. Nothing wrong with that; but those sexual “techniques” are not Tantra.)

Note that, a “higher” consciousness is not a “secret” to be sold. It is something that happens to humans who are ready after having gone through the wheel of Life experiences.

Jesus was crucified. Mary Magdalene is known by the masses as having been a prostitute. She wasn’t. That is a gross misunderstanding. Osho had been in trouble with the “law” and his practice was misunderstood by the collective consciousness.

Interesting outcome. Don’t you think?
The collective consciousness lags behind the pioneers. Only few human beings are ready at a particular point in time. Those individuals will be misunderstood while alive, but once the collective consciousness changes in time, all of the sudden; the words of the “misunderstood” will become “best sellers” and even “holy books.” We will have statues and pictures of the previously misunderstood “avatars” and the space to worship them.

Alive they were a “problem.” Dead,  they are revered.

The gist of Tantra

In a word Love. In a phrase: Harmony between BEING and non-BEING. In a paragraph: Acceptance, acknowledgement, respect of what you are and what you are not, through the AWARENESS of constant change in LIFE. To love Life in all its manifestations is Tantra.

To “practice” the above means not to understand.
BEING that, is the outcome. Not the goal. Tantra does not have any goal, nothing to achieve. Nothing to become, for if there was the goal above anything else, there will be lack of respect for what we ARE now.

That is why, it has been shared that Tantra is not for the collective consciousness, the masses.
The collective consciousness is heavily conditioned to pursue a goal, an objective. To achieve something in Life.

The collective consciousness is obsessed with BEING someone “special” in Life. Everything they pursue whether worldly or “spiritual” has to give something in return to be worth: Enlightenment, fame, money, prestige, eternal salvation, etc.

With that general consciousness, to distort the spirt of Tantra is unavoidable.
We can only understand based on the type of consciousness that we experience now.

Tantra will happen to you when your consciousness is ready.

Our society has equated Tantra with sex, for Tantra acknowledges the complete human experience, including sex; while most religious systems simply ignore or deny sexuality.

For a sexually repressed society as ours, that was the attraction of Tantra.

Ahnanda shares about sexuality and Tantra; not because he has read about it or because he is certified or had extensive studies in “spirituality” or “Tantra.” Ahnanda is not a teacher. He does not share information.
Ahnanda shares his experiences, because in this Life time, he is experiencing the complete range of that particular experience.
That “knowing” had a price that money cannot buy.

In my experience, things will occur according to the readiness of our consciousness. Therefore, the beginning phase into Tantra is to acknowledge who we ARE now.

That means to OBSERVE, become AWARE of our mental conditioning, our beliefs, our emotional traumas. Those are the blockages for opening up in consciousness.

The outcome of that inner work will be to let go of our anger and violence which are the main energies, supporting everything we DO in Life, including sex. Thus, as we ARE sex will be. Anger and violence are defense mechanisms of the “I. “

Without this previous work, we could only enhance our sexual pleasure through techniques and methods; but rest assured that, that is not Tantra.

In Tantra, the temple is Nature. The “teachers” are the different beings: The Sun, the Ocean, animals, plants, etc. All of them have something for us to learn. That is openness to Life, acknowledgement of what IS. Those teachers, will help us into our de-conditioning.
BE there, to feel their presence. BE there so that will BE part of you.
Allow for Life to show you your particular path, be open to it unconditionally. There is nothing to achieve. No goals. Just BE what you are meant to BE… Life is change and so are you.
This may be known as the “TAO,” or “TANTRA.” Just words to express our inner discovery in this journey known as LIFE.
Love Life from the heart. That is the essence.

The Tantric misunderstanding

Tantra is not for the masses. A “tantrica” is not born by taking on-line “master classes.” Tantra is not about “better sex” either. Nor a “system” or “philosophy” to expand consciousness. There is this belief on being “liberated” from conditioning, by speaking freely about sexuality in a society that views sex as a taboo.

Tantra “Goddesses” will appear selling different “services.” They become “Tantra teachers” after attending a few classes and paying their fees to be “certified.” There is no much there to show their level of consciousness, but it is thought, that their sexual prowess is the proof of their “mastery.”

We don’t hear too much about “gods” of “tantra.”
It is a steep job description: A man that can have sex as many times as he wishes and ejaculate only when he wants, without using “technology,” “pills”or any “techniques.” That is a “natural.”
Due to that level of “mastery,” we do not hear too much from them. If they sell “techniques,” rest assured they aren’t “naturals.”
The above is pretty much the collective belief about Tantra.

However, for the ones who are ready in consciousness; Tantra is a whole different thing. When a true Tantric couple is united by destiny, Sex has a different meaning: It is the way to discover Love by going beyond the limits of self.

According to my reliable “sources” there was in history an example of such a tantric couple. They are well known, although; the term “Tantra,” probably wasn’t known by them.
Would you like to know who they were? They were well known for their divinity:
Jesus of Nazareth and Mary Magdalene.
Astonished?
It makes perfect sense. Consciousness brings the “Tantra” experience.

I am sharing this knowing that some may be revolted by this “heresy” that goes against established beliefs.
But for those who are open to “do their homework,” this may be “good news.”

Tantra IS in that sort of “divine” consciousness.
When we ARE NOT there, then “techniques,” “methods,” “practices,” “rituals,” etc . are taught. The focus is only sex. Although, pleasure maybe enhanced, there is no “open door” in their consciousness to go beyond self.

A man cannot fully surrender to the sexual experience  or Life itself, if he was made a “master” through the use of “techniques.”

Just like “Yoga” is not what is practiced in the gym near you; Tantra is not a new fashionable method to have sex and “improve” consciousness… However, there are individuals claiming benefits from those “practices,” thus, everything is good.

Everyone aligns to a particular thing according to their consciousness. Thus, many times what we think “IS,” it may not be. It is in that experience of recognizing change, and not denying it or defending old beliefs; how change happens, how consciousness “expands.” 🙂
