Question: Dear Soul, thank you for this wonderful means to explore gyan. i have a question about today’s blessing . When it mentions the bondage the Gopies tie God(Krishna) to and tje bondage we tie Shivbaba to the Kalpa Tree. What does that mean? thankyou.

Thank you for your question and for your kind words!
Dear soul,

The blessing said this: “May you be worthy to be remembered through tying God in the bondage of your love and devotion.
On the path of devotion, it is remembered that the Gopis tied God in bondage to them. This is the bondage of love and devotion which is remembered as their divine activity. You children tie the unlimited Father to the unlimited kalpa tree with your love and devotion and the memorial of this also continues on the path of devotion. In return for this, the Father gives the seat of the
heart-throne to both of these ropes of love and devotion and makes it a swing and gives it to you children. Constantly continue to swing in this swing.”

The meaning of that blessing is to be one to be remembered as those who have love for God. To illustrate that blessing, in the path of devotion Krishna (who is viewed as God) is portrayed with Gopis having love for him. Similarly, in the cycle (Kalpa tree) we will be remembered as those who have “eternal” love for God for even in the path of devotion that love is remembered through different memorials. For that reason, our devotion and our love (path of knowledge) are recognized throughout the kalpa and that knowledge should be the swing to get to the Father’s heart throne.

Best wishes!

    Om shanti.

In this connection, i would like to share one of my experiences.

In my last trip to Madhuban 11 years ago, i had the fortune of watching the bondage of love between God and an obedient child.

i was sitting in a corner and was watching Baba walking from one end of the huge platform to the other being guided and assisted by Dadiji and Dadi Janaki ji (after finishing the murali). They were standing on either side of BapDada and were literally turning Him a bit from time to time and helped Him continue to walk. i was sitting on the other end of the stage where Baba was and was watching how slowly He was walking and taking His time to turn a little bit at a time.

i was not in any soul conscious stage, i was very immature in yoga at that time. Suddenly i saw Baba turning quickly to His right side and giving drishti to souls who were sitting there. i wondered whom He was giving drishti to and what made Him turn so quickly without taking any assistance from Dadis. He was looking towards someone in the Madhubanwasis group. And when He gave drishti to souls on our side, i did not get any ‘current’ as i was nowhere near the s.c. stage. 🙂

But the question remained in my mind as to who was the soul who had such a power / right over Baba.

The very next day, i happened to meet a brother who was a Madhubanwasi and we exchanged our experiences of meeting Baba the previous day. DRAMA! That brother casually said, “You know sister, yesterday, i waited for Baba to turn towards us to give drishti, but He was taking a long time to turn. Then i i asked Baba in my mind as to when He was going to give me drishti. You know sister, He immediately turned towards me and gave me that loving drishti.”

i was amazed for two reasons; one was that i could meet the soul who had built up such a right over Baba and secondly, Baba’s love towards me for arranging a meeting with His obedient child which was a very remote possibility.

Yes, the scene was fixed in the Drama, and yes, our love for Baba makes it happen in the drama.

    Om shanti.
